The EVO 8 is indeed a "7 bolt" but the crank "gurdle" is designed like the 6 bolt crank and there has been No incidents ever reported of crankwalk by an EVO

Mitsu knew about their shitty crank + oil squirter Issues with the 2G's motors
Thats why they redesigned the EVO so they wont have a million complaints filed against them
