ight, i finally got my amps and subs installed at bestbuy, so as i was driving away from thier installation garage, I heard clunk clunk tink tunk pang po ping bang rattle lalala chi chi fffff flaw! So I was like "what da Fuck was dat?" So then I parked my car in the 3rd parking space to the left of bestbuy, i thought about taking the handicap parking but didn't wanna risk it, i parked, & pulled the E-brake. With great agility I made my way to the center of the street where to my surprise I came upon this metal disc and a belt that laid there innocently. I was apalled with this discovery that took my breath away. As I laid there in absolute silence, this bystander who had witnessed the disaster smoothly voiced to me "thats ur serpentine belt". My whole world came crashing down on me for I had no knowledge of this "serpentine belt". Seeing how my car was still in working manner, I jumped into my 97 hatch with a 2000 front and while facing my Si cluster took a deep breath, released the e-brake and began to accelerate while releasing the cutch I made it home!.......................Anyways, to make a short story shorter......my car doesn't wanna start anymore :( lol. I got in this morning, it turned on and the n after like 15 minutes the beast shut off! I have this metal disc and a rubber belt in my trunk, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with my car!!!!! Help me!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that motor doesn't have a serpentine belt. How about opening the hood and like, um, using your eyes to see where it may go? Sounds to me like an alternator belt. I bet your battery light was on the whole time, no?

Def sounds like the alternator belt. You probably used all battery power to get it home , hence your battery is probably dead . Jumping it will only give you enough charge for it to run for a couple of minutes . Audio puts a huge strain on you whole electrical system . This is what I would do.
A. Check and replace belt (do not reuse the other one)
B. Buy a Optima Yellow top Battery part number 55R
C. Upgrade every ground in you engine bay to 4 gage.
These are just some suggestions I thought might help.
CHECK YOUR ALT FUSE IN THE DRIVE SIDE YOUR FUSE BOX THEY IS 7.5 A FUSE IF THEY BLOW OUT YOU WOUN'T HAVE ANY CHARGE IN TO YOUR CAR THAT ENGINE WOUN'T KEEP RUNNING......GOOD LUCK......
